Cross country

This year we did cross country(again) and sadly I didn't place anything but I did try and it was really fun. When we started it was nerve-racking but later it was fun.I was running with Charles at the start but later I ditched him, the run was 2 kilometres long. The final stretch was my least favourite because people cheered you on.

Bikewise

This week we had a session of bike wise.We learned about a lot of things but I will talk to you about safety.

                                            HELMETS

1.You need to see if there any cracks, if there are any chuck it away

2.A helmet can only been used once. If you fall and hit your head throw it away.

3.Before you start riding check if the straps are right under your ear.

4.You need to tighten your straps.

5.Make sure the helmet is covering your fore head

                                            BIKES

1.Make sure your Quick-release is closed and tight.

2.Make sure your tyres have enough air.

3.Make sure your brakes are working

4.Make sure your handles are tight

5.Check if the seat is right for you.

So that's how you check your bike an your helmet.
