The Hei Tiki

On June 26th my class and I went on a trip to the museum to learn about the Hei Tiki. We first examined some rare Hei-tikis then made some The Hei Tiki is  a symbol of power and welcoming in the Maori religion.We also made our own Tiki's made out of felt,glue and buttons. My one is white with purple eyes and blue arms and legs.His tongue is fire and it also has a moustache.It was really fun.
